About the Founder
I’m Lacho
and it took me 20 years to get the chess trophy you see.
My grandpa kicked my ass for years before I got a single victory against him. The top guys wiped the floor with me in competitions for over a decade. But I kept trying until things clicked. Now, I’m in the top 0.3% of online chess players. I coached chess at my university. I didn’t lose a single game on the day I got the trophy.
I’m passionate about writing the same way I am about chess. I̶ g̶o̶t̶ t̶h̶e̶ t̶o̶p̶ C̶a̶m̶b̶r̶i̶d̶g̶e̶ E̶n̶g̶l̶i̶s̶h̶ C̶e̶r̶t̶i̶f̶i̶c̶a̶t̶e̶ w̶h̶e̶n̶ I̶ w̶a̶s̶ 1̶6̶.
