The setup
Our client, SmokeSignals, is a brick-and-mortar business that had a small website with less than 5 unique pages, which were translated into 4 languages.
However, their website had never been carefully optimized for search engines and was struggling to rank for almost any terms in Google, especially in the different languages.


The solution
We analyzed the top five organic competitors of our client to get a general idea of all the keywords that they were ranking for.
Then we curated the list into words with high search volume and business relevancy and analyzed Google’s results page for each one of them.
After careful selection of keywords, we optimized each page and its translated versions around focus keywords.
The result was an almost immediate jump from Google’s 5th page to its top 5 results for a few relevant business terms. These quick fixes resulted in instant increases in traffic and revenue for our client.
